Landlocked over this past winter Ben and I did what what we could to prepare for our adventure, including researching and stalking ebay for some critical purchases. Ben will fill in the details on the more technical purchases, but they have already proved to be incredibly useful especially the upgraded chart plotter with XM weather, radar and sonar, and a new gas grill.
Two things we still need are a dingy anchor and to upgrade from 6 feet of anchor chain to at least 75. Less exciting and sexy, but still necessary, especially if we want to be able to take the dingy to go snorkeling.
